EDMONTON -- Led by Connor McDavid's goal and assist, the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 3-1 in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Thursday.

With the victory, the Oilers advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2006 and will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
